Exmouth Cultural Arts Centre
Exmouth Cultural Arts Centre (ECAC) was established in 1996 to develop and support the visual and performing arts on a community level. We are the only arts and culture organisation on Australia's remote Northwest Cape, home to the Ningaloo Reef.
Exmouth Cultural Arts Centre was established to:
Coordinate and represent the performing and fine arts groups and individual artisans of Exmouth;
To promote and develop participation and enjoyment of the performing and fine arts;
To collaborate and liaise with bodies interested in presenting and conducting the performing and fine arts;
To encourage provision of facilities for artistic expression and for the study and appreciation of artistic expression in all its forms.
Our members include visual artists (painters, sculptors, photographers, textile artists, jewellers) theatre and dance artists, and musicians. Four bands hold studio space at our home, 12 Learmonth Street, and contribute to a thriving local music scene.
